And lo, ‘twas the end of FanExpo
I am so exhausted. Medieval Times was good though - our knight won! :D I took a selfie with him. I look like crap but I care not, good sirs and madams! Victory belongs to us!
At this point, I am so anxious to be home. I want to just pile all my swag up and fall asleep face down in it. (It helps that most of it is t-shirts.) Gonna try to get one last swim in and then probably pass out as soon as we get back to the room. We woke up early this morning, and even though I don’t leave until later on tomorrow, I still have to cram 10 lbs. of shit into a 5 lb. suitcase (…well… you know what I mean) before I get on the plane - or, for that matter, the shuttle back to the plane.
It’s not ASL
Please proofread your Ice Bucket Challenges, people. This is to raise awareness, after all, so make sure you’re doing it right.
ALS stands for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. This is what we’re raising awareness for with all the ice buckets and celebrities, so just, y’know, proofread.
Sleep is for:
the weak the mentally stable
- people who aren’t at cons
Okay, I got Bruce Campbell’s autograph and Sir Patrick Stewart’s and life is good again. Gonna go to Medieval Times in a little while and otherwise just let my feet rest up.
Trem is a vicious kitten
On the one hand, FanExpo’s stupidity has kept me from getting Bruce Campbell’s autograph despite paying for it (long story I don’t want to get into at the moment - I’m going to try again tomorrow), and TFC lost 3-0 to the Revs at home. But on the other hand…
I was at BMO Field!! I met Nathan Fillion and got his autograph! I WAS AT BMO FIELD AND I BOUGHT A SCARF.
I also got some new cute panties. And had fun with Ty & Trem. I am also officially jealous of Toronto’s food trucks because OH MY HOLY FUCK this food is great. $5 (CAD, duh) for a giant sausage & fuckin’ awesome fries. I mean, no tax. $5. ‘Course, it’s $2 for a can of Coke, but that still means $7 for a lot of very tasty food (and a Coke).
I have Ty to back me up on this: my reaction to seeing Nathan Fillion was the same as my reaction to being in BMO. I took so many pics during warmups, you would not believe.
